A hospital management system we built for a similar practice in Western Massachusetts replaced their three separate platforms with a single, integrated solution. The system uses React for the frontend interface, allowing medical staff to quickly access patient records, appointment schedules, and billing information in one place. We chose Laravel for the backend because of its robust handling of complex business logic and built-in security features that are essential for healthcare applications.

For data storage, we implemented MySQL with optimized queries to handle the practice's 15,000 patient records efficiently. The system includes a REST API that integrates with external services like insurance verification platforms and prescription management systems.
