We host most builds on AWS with Docker containers, which keeps the environment portable if you ever want to move providers later. That is a decision we make once and rarely revisit, since switching infrastructure mid-project creates more risk than it solves. Most business tools do not need a microservices architecture, whatever the current trend says. A well-built monolith is easier to maintain, cheaper to host, and faster for a small team to reason about.
