We used React for the front end so the receptionist can see the live availability board on a 27-inch monitor without any lag, even when five patients are checking in at once. The dashboard updates every three seconds and highlights any double-booking risks in red before the patient even reaches the front desk. The old system relied on a single person to remember which rooms were cleaned, which were double-booked, and which staff members were running late. The new system enforces consistency automatically.

Here is the honest part: if your business still runs on one person’s memory and a Google Calendar, the first version won’t feel fancy. It will feel fast. The flip side is that once the system is live, every change request, adding a treatment room, introducing a new provider, or switching to a hybrid in-person/telehealth model, takes hours to implement instead of weeks.
