Booking & Appointment System in Hanapepe, Hawaii

Most booking software assumes you're scheduling a single resource, like a stylist's chair or a dentist's exam room. We build on Laravel and MySQL because a business booking boats, rooms, and instructors all at once needs a data model a generic SaaS calendar can't handle. The React-based admin dashboard we build on top gives whoever runs the front desk one screen to see every resource's availability, instead of juggling three separate booking tools.

Payments matter more once deposits are involved, so we wire Stripe in for deposit collection, automatic cancellation cutoffs, and partial refunds when a tour gets weathered out. That last part isn't a nice-to-have on Kauai; a boat charter that has to cancel a morning trip because of surf conditions needs a rebooking flow that doesn't depend on a phone call, or the customer just asks for a full refund instead.

For staff working outside, cell coverage along parts of Hanapepe Road and out toward the canyon isn't always reliable, so the Flutter mobile app we build for guides and front-desk staff is written to work offline and sync through Firebase once a connection comes back. A guide checking in six kayak customers at the put-in point shouldn't need full bars to mark them present.

We've also built booking flows for a Friday Art Night style business, where a gallery wants walk-ins most nights but needs pre-booked, capacity-limited pottery or lei-making classes on the one evening a week when foot traffic spikes hard. That's a different scheduling problem than a spa taking appointments five days a week, and it's exactly the kind of edge case generic scheduling plugins tend to handle badly.
